Sooooo much snow!!!!!!

I use to love the snow but now we have too much!! The snow banks on the side of the rode here in small town Saskatchewan are at least 10 feet high! (well to me they look 10 feet high) Today at school 2 out of the 3 buses did not run. so out of a school with 48 kids the school is very empty.

!!!I wish summer would come quicker!!!

Shandy's Training

I have been working with my mare Shandy and she coming along very well. I am inching my way closer and closer to the day I can finally get to ride her. Right now Shandy and I are working on ground driving and so far it is going pretty well. She is still not very fond of the bit yet, but she is getting better. When I get home from school, I saddle up Shandy and drive her every day up and down the yard. My dad said that if I take my time and build up our trust, I will be riding sooner then if I rushed and didn't have trust. So what daddy was getting at, was one of Monty Roberts famous quotes, "If you act like you u have 15 minute it will take you all day, but if you act like you have all day it will take you 15 minutes". So with that quote and me acting like I have all day, me and Shandy will be loping down the yard in no time.

Remember September

When I get together with my friends we always remember things we did before. For example when we went to Spruce Meadows last year our friend Desiree was almost asleep, so my other friend Shania got her brothers shaving cream. We put it on her leg and it wasn't foamy. So I remembered that my dad had shaving cream like that and you have to rub it, so Shania and I were sitting and rubbing Desiree's leg! Kjerstin was laughing at us. It was the funniest thing ever!!! hahahahahaha good times. I love my friends.
I can't wait till This September when we go to Spruce Meadows again. Yay!!

The Last Chirp

The last chirp is called the last chirp because it is about the 5,000 and more birds that darkened the skies new years eve. I hope you like it!
