Here is a raft story I wrote in Writers Workshop.
It is about Cupid falling in love with a burger... :D Tell me what you think all coments are welcome.
Burger Love
Once upon a time in the land where Cupid lived,
wherever that is, Cupid was practicing his shooting. It
was a beautiful day so he was getting bulls-eyes left,
right and centre.
There was a loud noise that startled him. He shot
an arrow and it hit the target right in the centre and
when he hit the target more animals and or people fell
in love. After that he decided to go get some take-out to
eat. And off to McDonalds he went for a burger and
fries. When he got to McDonalds, he ordered a
cheeseburger, fries, and a coffee. On his way home he
saw rabbits, birds, and gophers in love.
He thought to himself, “What a great job I have
done!”
When he got home to the land where he lived he went to
his shooting range. He sat down and ate his fries and
then decided to wait a while before eating his burger so
he shot more arrows at the target. He shot lots of bull’seyes
again 10, to be exact. Then he heard the noise
again, this time it was louder. He shot an arrow. It hit
something and bounced off and hit something else.
Cupid looked around trying to see where it went, and
then it hit him in the butt. The 1st thing he saw was his
hamburger.
He fell madly in love with the burger. He ran to it
and hugged it and kissed it and said “I love you burger”.
He took it to the park on a date and while this was all
happening Cupids girlfriend was out shopping. When
she got home she saw Cupid kissing the burger.
She looked at him with a puzzled look, and said,
“Honey why are you kissing that burger.”
He looked at her with rage and said, “How dare you
call my wife a burger!” You see when Cupid was at the
park on a date with the burger, which he now calls
Betty the Burger they met a man who was a priest, who
did weddings so he married them.
The girlfriend was frustrated “What do you mean
wife!” she said yelling at the top of her lungs.
“This is my wife we got married” Cupid said with a
happy tone in his voice.
Cupid’s girlfriend stormed off. Cupid looked at
Betty the burger and said “girlfriend uh. I love you Betty
the Burger I will love you till the end of time.”
A week later Cupid and Betty the Burger decided to
adopt a child from the adoption centre in the magical
land where they lived; well Cupid decided as Betty the
Burger was a burger and doesn’t have a brain. Their
child’s name that they were going to adopt was
Spaghettis from the centre. Cupid went to pick him up
and drive him home.
When they got home Spaghettis turned and looked
at Cupid and said “Why is mom a blue and smelly
burger?”
But that’s another story…….
